In September, 1954, we entered the Joseph Case High School as timorous seventh graders. A whole new world surrounded and confused us, but gradually we became accustomed to the many new and exciting activities of Junior High.

September, 1956, saw our entrance into the realm of the high school. We were now freshmen, with class officers of our own. Advised by Mr. Napoleon Dufault, we were headed by President, Dolores Comeau; Vice President, Elaine Donovan; Secretary, Elaine Provazza; and Treasurer, Penny Smith. The Latin club contest was won by Edward Scullin and Bonnie Rosenthal, who reigned as King and Queen of the “Snow Ball.” An enthusiastic candy sale contest was won by Pauline Morrissette and Myles Dewey, who were crowned “Mr. And Miss. Freshmen Class.” The year was pleasantly ended with the Freshmen Prom, “Moonlight and Roses,” and Class Day.

In our sophomore year we made the transition to the high school building, where we were advised by Mrs. Alice Gallon. Class officers were President, James Johnson; Vice President, Thomas Walker; Secretary, Jo-Anne O’Brien;and Treasurer, Elaine Donovan. The year was marked by the sale of Christmas cards and the emergence of many students into the high school sports scene.

Our junior year brought with it many happy moments and the long-awaited class rings. Class officers were President, Wolly Morin; Vice President, Gerry Palmisciano; Secretary, Joanne O’Brien; and Treasurer, Melanie Pelletier. Our class advisor was Mr. Paul Monahan. The outstanding event, which will long live in our memories, was the Junior/Senior prom, “Song of the Sea.” Co-chairman Del Comeau and Joe Quinlan and their committee transformed the gymnasium into a wonderland of beauty and enchantment.

Climaxing our high school days has been our wonderful senior year. Capably advised by Ms. Rita Sullivan, our senior class is headed by President Joseph Quinlan; Vice President Gerry Palmisciano; Secretary Jerry Galego; and Treasurer Barry Cullin. Student Council officers are seniors Jim Johnson, President; Elaine Donovan, Vice President; Carol Mosher, Secretary; and Sue Danielson, Treasurer. Highlights of the year have been our courageous sports team and the Talent and Fashion shows. Events to come include Class Day, the Senior Banquet, the Prom, and that magical moment of Graduation, when we culminate our years of high school learning, ready to face the future with both joy and apprehension.
